1. Acceptance of Terms

By using WageOwl, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

WageOwl provides tools to track work shifts, estimate earnings, and generate financial insights.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Use the app lawfully
• Not misuse or attempt to disrupt the service

4. Financial Disclaimer

WageOwl provides estimates and calculations only.

We do not guarantee accuracy and are not responsible for financial decisions made based on the app. Always verify with official sources or professionals.

5. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, violations of these Terms, or fraudulent activity. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify you at the email address associated with your account before or promptly after taking such action.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscriptions are managed via RevenueCat and platform providers (Google Play / App Store).

• Prices and plans are shown in-app
• Any free trial terms (including trial length, if offered) are shown on the purchase screen and in your app store checkout flow.
• Unless canceled before the end of the trial or current billing period, subscriptions renew automatically and your app store account will be charged.
• You can manage, downgrade, or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Deleting your WageOwl account does not automatically cancel your app store subscription.
• Billing, renewals, and refunds are controlled by Apple App Store or Google Play, and must be requested through the applicable store.

7. Advertising

Free users may see ads served via Google AdMob. We are not responsible for third-party ad content.

8. Intellectual Property

All app content, branding, and design belong to WageOwl. You may not copy or reuse without permission.

Your personal data, including shifts, earnings, and job information you enter into the app, remains yours. WageOwl's intellectual property claim applies only to the app itself, its design, branding, and technology, and not to user-generated content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• WageOwl is provided "as is"
• We are not liable for:
  • Data loss
  • Financial loss
  • Service interruptions

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

10. Third-Party Services

WageOwl relies on third-party services (including Supabase, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, Apple App Store, and Google Play). Availability, billing operations, and certain functionality may depend on those services.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, discontinue use of WageOwl and delete your account.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of WageOwl will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, India.

14. Authentication Availability

WageOwl currently supports email-based sign-in. Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In may be enabled or disabled in different app versions.
